VidTune is a video-to-audio converter and audio toolkit developed by Spinel. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the VidTune application.
VidTune processes the video and audio files you select primarily on your device. Core features such as video-to-audio conversion, audio trimming, audio merging, volume adjustment, speed adjustment, ringtone creation, metadata editing, and batch conversion are performed locally on your device.
VidTune does not upload your source video or audio files to our servers for media conversion or editing.
Audio files created by VidTune are stored on your device, generally in the Music/VidTune folder or another location selected or managed by Android. You remain in control of these files and may play, share, rename, or delete them.
VidTune may display advertisements provided through Google Mobile Ads. Advertising services may process information such as advertising identifiers, device information, app interactions, advertising data, and approximate location derived from network information.
Advertising availability and personalization may depend on your region, privacy settings, consent choices, and applicable law.
VidTune uses Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) where required to obtain or manage advertising privacy and consent choices.
Where applicable, users can review available advertising privacy choices through the Privacy Choices option inside VidTune.
VidTune uses Google Firebase services, including:
These services may process information such as device identifiers, app interactions, diagnostic information, and other technical information according to Google's applicable policies and service settings.
VidTune does not intentionally include the names, file paths, or contents of your selected media files in analytics events.
VidTune's core media conversion and editing tools can work without an internet connection. An internet connection may be used for advertisements, consent management, analytics, crash reporting, and notifications.
VidTune may request permissions that are necessary for specific features. Depending on your Android version and the feature you use, these may include:
VidTune does not require permission to modify system settings for normal video-to-audio conversion.
If you choose to share an audio file created or edited with VidTune, Android allows you to select another application or service to receive that file. Information shared with another application is subject to that application's privacy practices.
VidTune does not maintain a server-side copy of the source media you select for local conversion or editing. Files created by VidTune remain on your device until you delete or otherwise manage them.
Third-party services used by VidTune may retain information according to their own policies and applicable settings.
VidTune uses third-party services provided by Google, including Google Mobile Ads, Google User Messaging Platform, Firebase Analytics, Firebase Crashlytics, and Firebase Cloud Messaging. Information processed by these services is governed by their applicable terms, privacy policies, and user privacy choices.
VidTune is not designed to knowingly collect personal information directly from children. If we become aware that personal information has been provided to us in a manner that requires deletion under applicable law, we will take appropriate steps to address it.
We aim to limit data handling to what is necessary for VidTune's functionality. Core media processing is performed locally on the user's device, which avoids the need to upload source media to our servers for conversion.
We may update this Privacy Policy when VidTune's features, services, or legal requirements change. The latest version will be published on this page, and the "Last updated" date will be revised when appropriate.
